MEN'S LACROSSE STICK-Do not purchase a girls stick. The key difference is a boys pocket is deeper. Ask for help if you are not sure.
MOUTH GUARD-Colored is required; it can't be white or clear. Make sure the device covers the molars. You must also boil and fit the mouth guard.
HELMET-Purchase a lacrosse helmet. No substitutions will be allowed.
GLOVES-Purchase lacrosse gloves. No substitutions will be allowed.
SHOULDER PADS-Make sure the pads cover the chest/solarplex area. As your son grows, it is important these areas are still being protected.
CLEATS-Lacrosse is played on many different types of surfaces including grass and artificial turf.
PROTECTIVE CUP-Required for all practices and games. If your son is not wearing one he will not be allowed to participate.
RIB PROTECTION-Rib guards are optional but will provide another layer of protection.
GIRL’S EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

has a shallow pocket. Ask for help if you are not sure.
MOUTH GUARD-REQUIRED: It must be colored, cannot be white or clear. Make sure
device covers the molars. You must also boil and fit the mouth guard as
per manufacturer’s instructions.
GLOVES-OPTIONAL: Purchase girl’s lacrosse gloves. Do NOT use hockey gloves as
the thumb on a hockey glove is too stiff to handle a lax stick. Ask for
assistance at the sports shop.
CLEATS-REQUIRED: Ramsey Lacrosse players practice and play on grass. Cleats
are a must have item. Some away games will be played of turf and players
may prefer sneakers or turf shoes at these events.
